Growing up in the unforgiving heat and humidity that the Florida sun permeates ...I longed for the change of seasons. Upon moving to NY in the "pursuit of happiness," & apparent brutal career in the highly competitive dance industry of contemporary ballet, my favorite season quickly became....winter! I soon felt a strong connection to the seasons. I wanted a way to capture the nature around me. I wanted to share the essence of the world around me. The light snowfall over a maple tree at the end of fall, not yet winter. The bright and stark beauty of vibrant dahlias. The hue of a rose ranging in color from a pearl underwater-to the brilliance of a sunset. The rushing water of Jackson Falls, a light wispy rainfall coating the pines. Those surreal moments...where the life of mother earth floods the senses...are most sacred to me. After a couple years of very hard work, loss, the birth of my third child and many moments of doubt, I decided to launch LnL. My pieces represent my passions, love, beauty and the essence of growth. ALL pieces are made from genuine flowers and leaves. No two pieces are the same.
